How does it work?

What to Expect at your Initial Consultation

Your initial meeting is the first step in determining how best to proceed.

Generally your first meeting with Lyon Family Law Lawyer will focus on getting a thorough “history” of your relationship and situation; both the good and the bad.

Using our online intake system prior to the consultation will speed up this first meeting. If you prefer to provide this information in person, that is no problem at all, just reach out and let’s set up a meeting.

1st Meeting

Come prepared to provide an overview of what brought you to see us. We need to know the whole story.

Part 2.

We will begin to identify the legal issues that arise from your situation after we carefully review your history and any relevant documentation.

Part 3.

We will explore some of the different Dispute Resolution methods available to you and help you narrow down which process or combination of processes would be most suited to your situation.

Part 4.

It is time to make some decisions. We will also advise you as to what your options are for "next steps".
